Ed and Nathan beat Alex and Sarah 6-1 on a hot day in the parking lot.
The first inning on this 80+ day was quick with solid fielding leading to no score. In the top of the second a single and then triple by Alex put he and sarah on top 1-0. Nathan responded in the bottom of the inning with a blast in the lefty friendly park. then a couple more hits made it 2-1. nathan and Ed were not done there scoring two more on a double by Nathan and then two more doubles by Ed leaving the score 4-1 after three. Two more runs in the bottom of the fourth on another Nathan blast gave us the finishing score of 6-1. Props to Sarah playing in bare feet on the scorching blacktop.
