Don't miss the signing statement on the appeal ruling - the 8/19/06 championship may stand, but future championships will be more in line with the old school, traditional, hard-earned reputation of the COTW. In the future there will be no free passes given to players who leave early to earn non-cashable brownie points. Players who want to win championships will need to be committed to putting in the time necessary to win them, without exception.
