Doubleheader Action in the Pike League
Two Pike League exhibition games at Yarmouth Yards resulted in a split with some new talent making their mark.
Dow, Peter, Nathan, Scott, Sarah and Jackie took the first game 14-3 in short innings over Angus, Kris, Ed, Matt, JT and Sam. Nathan left the park several times from the left side of the plate while control problems on the mound were the clear difference in the game.
Matt, Angus, Sarah and Nathan took the second game 4-3 in short innings over Kris, Ed, Vaughn and Peter. Lights-out pitching was the story in the nightcap. Vaughn went deep to left.
Pike League games are every Tuesday and Thursday at Great Woods Park.
