Pike League Marathon Ends in Tie
Alex, Scott, Nathan and Peter played to a 7-7 tie against Dow, Amar, Aniket, Angus and Steve in five innings at Great Woods.
Control issues on the mound were the story again at Great Woods Park as the teams battled to a 7-7 tie.

Nathan and Peter had a big second inning as Amar struggled with his control. In the bottom of the inning Aniket and Angus returned the favor as Scott had trouble locating his pitches.
In the top of the third, Aniket displayed his mean curve ball but left it inside too often to be effective, and the lead changed hands again.
Amar and Aniket were able to combine for the tying run in the bottom of the fourth, with the help of some defensive miscues, and that closed the book on scoring for the day.
