Plans For New Field Underway
The Pike League Commissioners have been scouting for a new field location and have a short list of candidates.
At the top of the list is a field which has been granted the working name of Parking Lot Park. Construction of the park is already underway and should be completed sometime in early August, 2006.
Parking Lot Park will have a unique feature of being multi-oriented. On Tuesdays, the Great Wall will be in left field, while on Thursdays the Great Wall will be in right. We will have more details as construction of the park nears completion and the media guide is finalized and released to the press. A press conference has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 10th at 12:05 pm, before the first pitch is thrown in the new park.
