The Big Inning: 10-2
The game started off as a pitching duel, some runners threatening but none scoring. The only play of note was a disputed foul call in the top of the first (See the third Field Rule at Parking Lot Park).
The rally came in the bottom of the third. Clean and dirty singles and walks loaded the bases and more for a 3-0 lead. Peter then left a curve ball over the plate and Angus put it over the left field wall for a Righty Day Granny. He followed with another home run, and then loaded the bases again before being set down. A big inning, 8-0 after three.

Alex put a man on in the bottom of the fourth and John homered to make the score 10-0. It was up to Scott and Nathan, and then up to Nathan.
Nathan had been hitting the ball deep all day long, but there is no fence in right field on Righty Day. Several hard hit balls were hauled in for outs over the course of the game. Nathan worked some walks and singles to load the bases, then ripped a double to deep center to bring in two runs and break the shutout. He was gaining momentum, and getting better looks with every pitch as Angus was missing his spots.
After walking the bases loaded again, Nathan got the pitch he was looking for and hit it deep to right. Ed turned, running full speed away from the plate ... and caught up with it to win the game, stealing a sure grand slam home run from Nathan. Final, 10-2.
Nathan take first Pike League Game since founder Angus is traded.
