The Great Escape: 5-1
Some days you get lucky.
Alex put his team ahead early with his classic calcified batting style, walking his way to a run to make it 1-0 after one.
In the second, Nathan led off with an opposite field single, and then Alex went back to work with his petrified bat. Angus was having major problems finding the strike zone with his fastball, and Alex walked his way to a 4-1 lead, with a few singles in the mix.

Peter and Angus were just getting started. Peter led off the third by crushing a ball to deep left, one of the hardest hit balls we've seen in a while, although it was hauled in for a long wind-assisted out. Nathan followed with a shot to deep left center in the bottom of the inning to make the score 5-0.
In the top of the fourth Peter and Angus were locked in. Single Single double walk single. BP almost. One run in. Bases loaded. Tying run at the plate ... Great Wall looming ... Nathan running stunts with the free safety defense in center ...
... at which point Angus swung at a pitch out of the strike zone and was put out on a weak grounder to left. Final: 5-1.
