Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely: 12-1
After the off-day on Tuesday, the Pike League sluggers ripped into The Great Wall and launched the fall season with some long balls.
Peter hit the fifth pitch he saw over the wall in right for a leadoff homer. It was a surprising display of power at that point in the game, and Angus had to take a moment to collect himself before settling down to get out of the inning.
Angus served his revenge hot in the bottom of the inning. Walk, walk, walk, grand slam over the wall in deep right center, 4-1, walk, dirty single, walk, dirty single, triple, single, 9-1. He then turned around to bat lefty and was able to get a single before being set down.

The second was quiet - some runners, no runs.
Alex walked one batter to start the third before striking out the side. In the bottom of the inning Nathan put two on with a dirty single and a walk, and Alex brought them in with a three-run homer to right. Final: 12-1.
Nathan take first Pike League Game since founder Angus is traded.
