Came Up Here To Hit: 4-4

Nathan and Angus played to a 4-4 tie against Alex and Dow on Righty Day at The Lot.

Another action packed game in the Pike League. Nathan got it started in the first, working walks and a dirty single off Alex to get ahead 1-0.

In the bottom of the second, Dow was all over Angus. He knocked the first slider he saw down the line in right for a triple. He followed that by knocking a fastball to left, 1-1. After hitting a couple long foul balls to left, he was able to wait on the curve ball and smack it over the wall in left, 3-1. Angus will need to adjust his delivery as Dow has it figured out.

Angus redeemed himself in the top of the third. Triple, single, 3-2. Double, double to go ahead 4-3. Angus was hitting the ball hard but could not lay off the junk and popped up to end the inning. In the bottom of the inning, Dow hit a triple down the line and followed it with a single to tie the game at 4 apiece.

In the fourth each team had runners reach as far as second, but no runs scored. Final: 4-4, with four lead changes over the course of the game.
