Opening Day 2008 Schedule Set, Other Dates to Follow
Opening Day 2008 is set for Saturday, May 3rd, at Brentwood Forest Park. First pitch is a 105pm. We are looking forward to a record-setting year.
A tentative Father's Day date has been put on the schedule for June 21st in Chester. This is a week after Father's Day. The committee will discuss scheduling options.
In pre-season news, Hammy has recovered from the shoulder injury that had him sidelined during the winter, but recently sustained a rib injury. His agent denied that it was caused by playing hockey, which is disallowed by a clause in his COTW contract. Hammy contends that he will be ready for Opening Day.
All event hosts are encouraged to get their dates on the schedule. There may be an opportunity for multiple games in Chester in June and July.
