New Fenway Outlined by State-of-the-Art Warning Track

New Fenway field has been updated with a state-of-the-art warning track to improve the safety and playing conditions for athletes.

Although the improvements are years behind schedule and billions over budget, fans and players alike will be delighted by the new warning track. A crisp transition from grass to the warning track will ensure a player’s perception of the field and impending walls. By installing the warning track the management has shown a commitment to the players and their safety.

The installation of the warning track was not without controversy. The management of the ballpark were at odds with each other for what to improve next on the property. While the marketing and decoration side of management were vying for railings and balusters on a recently built deck and porch area, it was the laboring body of the organization that ultimately decided on the warning track.
